Amanda B4 Stars Out Of 5Good ending to the seriesJuly 29, 2020Amanda BQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4Secrets of Cedar Cabin is book 3 in the Lavender Tides series. I'd highly recommend reading this series in order so you understand who the characters are and their background/relationships with each other. I'm an avid reader and have read a LOT of books between books 2 and 3 in this series, so I'm thankful Coble reminded me of who several characters were.
Baily Fleming returns to Lavender Tides when she flees town after her mom's murder. Upon arriving in Lavender Tides, she immediately meets several neighbors, townspeople, and a helpful man, Lance. She soon realizes Lance is not who he says he is; he's an FBI agent. While trying to maintain a low profile, Bailey finds herself caretaker of a neighbor with dementia and in the middle of all the action. Dead bodies and a human trafficking ring, as well as a missing person investigation are not the way to lay low. The book definitely contains lots of suspense.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I'm so glad I went over my budget and purchased this series. I've wanted to read it since it came out. I think this is one of this author's best series. I couldn't wait to find out how this book was going to end, then was kind of sad because I enjoyed it so much. I purchased this book first when it was on sale and almost read it before the first two books. I'm so glad I didn't. Reading the first two books is a must, at least from my point of view. There were different stories going on that tied together in the end. The sex trafficking is so sad. The author covered it well but I know it has to be so much worse than any of us can even imagine. This series is a good read so don't pass it up.
