In this sequel to SMITTEN, the authors revisit Smitten, Vermont, with four more stories of romance and inspiration. Each story can stand on its own yet is tied together with the others. As sisters Tess, Zoe, and Clare, and their mother find love, they're joined by their grandmother and two aunts. Together they all unravel a mystery. Pam Turlow narrates the stories as a single installment instead of four separate novellas, which makes for a more pleasant listening experience but also challenges her ability to create unique voices for each character. While she does provide variation in her reading, some of the characters come across as whiny--like Zoe, the youngest sister--or a little too monotone for a romantic heroine--like Clare the middle sister and protagonist of the final story. Overall, this is a fun, lighthearted listen. E.N. AudioFile 2013, Portland, Maine
