An inspiring equestrian double feature! In Second Chances, 10-year-old Sunny survives a car crash---but can't walk without crutches. Will her spirit be lifted by the crippled horse at the ranch next-door? In Natalie's Rose, 15-year-old Natalie loses her only connection to her mother---a white rose. But what will she do when a pale steed appears? Approx. 3.5 hours total.
Natalie's Rose: This could have been a really good movie. Unfortunately, it is not. It is on the weird side and not what I would suggest for young kids. My kids did not like it. They said it was boring and weird. It had too many supernatural scenes that might not have been bad but they were just too far out in left field so to speak. The story just did not flow well at all.
Second Chances: This one was much better. It was a very sweet lower budget film. It too could have been a little better on the flow of story and video sequence but for the price and over all theme, it was not bad. My kids actually liked this one. It opened up conversation for doing the right thing to others even if they have not been the best to you.
I am torn on recommending this set. I would say if you can get Second Chances alone, then do that and skip this set.
