I've heard next to nothing about it, despite the fact that it was in theaters and is now available on DVD.
The cover and the summary make the movie look/sound like it could be pretty lame. Just another low-budget Christian indie.
But Seasons of Gray is really an excellent film. The cinematography is simple, but solid. The three main actors are all good, especially Andrew Cheney and Akron Watson (who's character is highly amusing).
A modernized portray of Joseph could have come across as really forced or laugh-worthy. But the writers of this film knew what they were doing; they created a smooth and believable parallel to the Biblical account. My dad, who watched the film with me, commented on how it really helped him understand the story of Joseph--really brought it home to him.
I really enjoyed this movie, and hope to see more of the same from independent Christian companies in the future.
