pyxiidust5 Stars Out Of 5This will bless you, and others!November 20, 2017pyxiidustQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book was suggested by a popular blogger I follow, KariAnne Wood from Thistlewood Farms. Upon following the supplied link to the book, I not only found one of my favorite 'reads', but I also discovered the blessings of the blog, "At the Picket Fence". The sister-team of Vanessa Hunt and Heather Patterson has been given the gift of putting emotions, ideas, and downright heart-warming stories to pen and paper. Their bold stand for Christ, apparent strong doctrine and wonderful humor make this a book that can bring tears in one moment, and laughter the very next. Top that off with amazing photography and easy projects and crafts (generously sprinkled throughout the pages), this makes for an amazingly well-rounded book. It could easily be put into many genres: devotions, inspiration, crafts, DIY... even auto-biographies, as the stories are all about their own personal lives. AND, the extra special detail given to the dust-cover of this hardbound book is simply beautiful. The picture of the book (seen on this listing) does not do it justice. I've bought 5 copies, so far. One for me, and I've given 4 as gifts! Put this on your own Christmas wishlist, and purchase it for others. The blessings will be abundant!
Marty Walden5 Stars Out Of 5Must Read Book for Encouragement for Heart and HomeNovember 2, 2016Marty WaldenQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Vanessa and Heather write a popular blog called At the Picket Fence. With their first book Life In Season, they continue to reach the hearts of readers everywhere with their stories of faith and family. Reading the book is like having a dear friend over for coffee without having to put on airs or clean the house! Each stand alone chapter encouraged me to refocus my eyes on God, while the simple crafts and recipes were totally doable for novice or expert alike. And if I got distracted and didn't finish the whole book (which would be a crying shame!)? It's a beautiful addition for my coffee table and home decor! This would be a precious Christmas or just because gift for the sweet woman in your life.
