Your youngsters want to be just like you. How exciting! Help them grow in their faith and learn more about Gods love with Say & Pray Devotions.
Say & Pray Devotions features short devotions and lots of labeled illustrations so your little one can practice identifying objects and words on their own! This book is a great tool to start a devotional time with little ones, as it will help you teach them about God, and the labeled pictures will help start a life of faith.
This is a nice complement to the bestselling Say & Pray Bible.

Katy4 Stars Out Of 5Short and Sweet with ScriptureJanuary 11, 2017KatyQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This is the second Say and Pray book we have gotten to review and I am happy to say that we like this one too! My son has started having fun pointing out all of the things labeled. The ideas are very simple and the prayers are short. Many of the pages focus on daily life and about the things God created. I like that there are Bible verses included with each devotion. The prayers are also only a sentence but they do a good job at giving examples of how to pray. Though, they do all start with Thank you, God. They are not varied in that format so it can get a little repetitive. This is similar to the Say and Pray Bible. If you like that one, you will probably like this one too!
Also, this is a board book and has withstood some beating so far. I would say that it falls in the middle of not being the sturdiest but definitely not flimsy.
All in all, I am glad to have another book to add to our collection and think that this will be a fun one down the road to help with learning to read.
Disclosure: I received this book for free but all opinions are my own.
joanna5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent board book for yound childrenDecember 22, 2016joannaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I got this book for my 2 year old daughter to review. She absolutely loves this book. She will spend a long time turning the pages of this board book and pointing to all the different objects on the pages. Many objects are identified to help with sight reading but several are not. I was hesitant to get this book to review but it is by far my 2 year olds favorite book in our house. She carries it carefully and reads it over and over. My 11 year old enjoys reading the book to her sister because the printed words are short yet you can make the story as long as you like. Each page has a prayer, a scripture and a praise. Even as I type up this review, my two year old took the book from me. I highly suggest this book for any young child.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. For as long as they can remember, we have been reading aloud together. Now that they are in school, they are starting to read more and more on their own which makes those moments reading together even more special. Its never to early to start creating those special memories of reading with you. Say & Pray Devotions first words, Devotions, and Prayer is a perfect first book to share with your little one and create a memory that will last a lifetime.
Say & Pray Devotions first words, Devotions, and Prayer Diane Stortz, is a devotional for little children. The devotional encourages little minds to explore new words all the while helping them grow in their faith. Each devotion shares the message of Gods love and helps your little one learn and follow Bible truths.
Say & Pray Devotions first words, Devotions, and Prayer is a board book that is the perfect size for little hands. The pages bend easily in small hands and could stand to be a bit thicker. The illustrations are full colour and full of details that will have your child exploring each page.
The book is divided into three sections, Gods World, Gods Gifts and Gods Love. Each section explores what God wants to share with us. Each devotion spans two pages and contains a short devotional of two or three lines, a great length to capture a little ones mind and heart. It is followed by a short scripture verse and prayer. Your child will love to point out and talk about the labeled objects on each page. Each word helps your child discover something wonderful that God wants to share with us.
Say & Pray Devotions first words, Devotions, and Prayer is so much more than a simple book. Its a book that encourages you to spend time beyond reading the words of the book. As you explore each page with your child, you will find yourself sharing special moments that neither of you will forget. With the help of the pictures, you can share how God loves each of us in your own words.
"Say & Pray Devotions - first words, Devotions, and Prayer" is a great book to share with your little one to help them grow in their faith. It would make a perfect gift for a baby shower or first birthday.

Chas Ray4 Stars Out Of 5Beautiful and EngagingNovember 10, 2016Chas RayQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Say and Pray Devotions are the perfect thing to get your little one excited about God's word.
Diane Stortz has put a lot of effort to make this devotional not only useful, but fun. It's divided into catagories, for example God's love, God's world, God'd gifts. Each picture of the devotional also has first words that you child can point to and name. They relate to the subject matter and make it fun for the child to learn. Each devotion also has a short scripture for you to read to your child and if they are old enough, they can read it themselves or even memorize it.
In my opinion this book is great for younger children or preschoolers. It would also be great for any church's younger Sunday school classes and/or nursery.
*I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions expressed above are my own.
Amanda4 Stars Out Of 5Say & Pray DevotionsNovember 9, 2016AmandaQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5It has a great childlike cover illustration. As soon as I opened the box my son asked if the book was for him. He wanted to open it and look at it right away. This book is a board book with very short devotions in it that are perfect for very young ages. The devotions cover things that little ones do during the day. For example, the first page is about the morning and has a little girl in the bathroom getting ready for the day. Then the next page is about being outside, then family, rainy days and more.
The devotion is only two short sentences. Then it has a Say and Pray. It takes a Bible Verse (from different translations), if you are KJV only then you may want to get a KJV Bible to read the verse instead of the book. Then it has a little prayer that is 1 or 2 sentences. The pages are full of words that describe the picture such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and towel for the bathroom scene.
The devotions are cute and easy to read with great illustrations. This book is for very young ages. My 3 year old was excited to start having devotions before bed just for him.
