math manipulatives5 Stars Out Of 5Great SetSeptember 27, 2017math manipulativesQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is great for our Saxon math curriculum but i think it would make a great set for any math curriculum as well.
Kristen3 Stars Out Of 5Not great qualityAugust 3, 2016KristenQuality: 2Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2I'm pretty sure it's not the kit sold by Saxon, which is what the product listing implies. The balance in this kit is so poorly designed that it's barely usable. The sides of the balance barely move (I have to push down the heavier side most of the time), and since the purpose is to visually illustrate concepts of weight, this is really disappointing.
All of the other parts are ok. It's hard to go wrong with cheap plastic counting toys. Would be 4 or 5 stars if it weren't for the balance issue. It's a good value, but I would have chosen to pay more for a kit with better quality parts if I had realized that this was not the kit sold by Saxon. I'm thinking about trying to return it.

Amalli5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent choice for hands on learningAugust 26, 2015AmalliQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this kit for my 3rd grader to accompany her Singapore Math curriculum. I have already seen great improvement in her Math skills as well as an new eagerness to learn. My 4 year old has also used many of these tools for his preschool curriculum and enjoys any lessons involving what he perceives are "math toys". 4 weeks into our school year I am so grateful to have this kit. It was offered here at the best price I could find and has not disappointed!
