I grew up on the Saxon math books, so I knew that it was going to be the perfect curriculum to have for my daughter. Saxon repeats the material in each lesson and makes it easy for the kids to understand. She is doing very well with it and I would recommend it to anyone!

The Saxon work kit is very thorough in providing ample practice and assessment opportunities for the student. I love that each lesson provides a guided exercise as well as an independent activity for later in the day if needed.

My daughters have worked (thus far) through Saxon 7/6 and Algebra . When it came time to figure out what to use for my newly adopted twin boys, the decision was a no-brainer. Saxon 1 is working beautifully, even with a language barrier! Non-distracting, concise lessons requiring (really) only a pencil, a few crayons, and occasionally some Legos to count make this a treat for me to guide my boys through. They can focus, enjoy, and learn all at the same time.Mission Accomplished!

I have used saxon math 1 in the past and am very happy with it. In fact I purchased saxon math 2 along with 1 this year for my 7 and 5 year olds! Would definitely reccomend.
