J5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent shippingAugust 15, 2021JQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The books are what I expected. But what I was surprised by and very thankful for, is that they were plastic wrapped inside the cardboard shipping box. A lazy delivery person dumped the box outside my garage door and by the time I got home, rain had soaked the box to the point that it disintegrated when I picked it up. I thought the books would be ruined. But there was not a drop of water on them, thanks to the plastic wrap. Thank you for taking this extra step to protect the books!

Mom of 75 Stars Out Of 5Good deliveryNovember 5, 2020Mom of 7Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really like how Saxon math delivers the concepts in a repetitive way, building upon concepts and teaching new things without the child "knowing" it or struggling. I have used Singapore math for my older kids and switched to Saxon because of a backorder this year. I am tempted to see what Saxon offers for the older kids next year.

Chrissyj5 Stars Out Of 5This sure beats Common CoreSeptember 22, 2020ChrissyjQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our district used Saxon Math for a few years.
Personally, I loved it. I taught 2nd grade for 18 years and it is a comprehensive program at the student's cognitive level. It is vry parent friendly. The problem with the program was once the children got to the intermediate grades, it lacked many of the essential skills required in NYS curriculum.
I highly recommend this for grades k-3. -
Jade3 Stars Out Of 5Lot of prep workMay 20, 2020JadeQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3This curriculum did not fit our lifestyle very well. It is very thorough and my daughter learned a lot but it was impossible for me to stay on top of each lesson because the curriculum jumps around. It took a lot of time and prep work from me and it wasn't practical with other children including a baby and being in school myself. The teacher's manual is large and has to be read thoroughly to provide the lesson. Overall, not for me!
