I have tried many math curriculum through the years and stumbled upon Saxon. I love the consistent and constant review that is provided. We all know that if you do not use a skill, you can easily loose it. The new material in each lesson provides examples for easy comprehension and understanding for the child. My fourth grader went from 70's to 90's and 100's daily using this program.

This goes with the textbook, it has the timed adddition/Subtraction/multiplication/division daily tests, chapter tests, worksheets, and extra activity worksheets that are nessissary for completeing the course. It is organized well too. Each child will need their own workbook for them to complete the course, and could share/reuse the textbook. Definately would recommend getting the solutions book as it will save time, you only need one.

This is a very good product that has meet our needs for this subject. My children like Mathematics very much!! Thanks to Saxon. :)

Next year will be our third child starting this program. It is systematic and thorough. My kids really know their math. The DIVE cds make a great addition for explaining concepts. We have never had an issue with grading the tests. We count each problem individually and divide by the total. Works fine!
