Joan-Marie5 Stars Out Of 5Great Grammar ProgramDecember 28, 2015Joan-MarieQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This program has really helped my daughter who was struggled with grammar. Would recommend this program to anyone who needs a more spiral method of learning.
ericandkeya5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent TextAugust 21, 2014ericandkeyaQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This program is laid out similarly to Saxon Math and is just as good. Each lesson is thorough, but short enough to keep the child's interest. We're very happy with our purchase. The one complaint is that it's only available in paperback. A book that is going to be used by multiple children should always have a hard cover.
The Prudent WomanAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5An Easy to Comprehend Grammar BookJanuary 31, 2014The Prudent WomanAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4We chose to go with Saxon for grammar because we were also doing Saxon math. The lessons are easily laid out and easy to comprehend. As with the math, problems from past lessons are present in each new lesson to keep the student from forgetting things that were learned, which I like.
If you like Saxon math, you will probably like this as well. If you are looking for a grammar book filled with colorful illustrations and a "fun" approach, then this is probably not for you.
We began homeschooling in the middle of 3rd grade, and since my daughter was ahead in grammar we started with Saxon 4. The beginning was a nice review and she has been able to catch on to new material presented easily.
Q: Is there any color in this series, or is it all in black and white print? Thanks!
