Saxon Geometry Homeschool Kit
Product Description
▼▲Presented in the familiar Saxon approach of incremental development and continual review, topics are continually kept fresh in students' minds. Covering triangle congruence, postulates and theorems, surface area and volume, two-column proofs, vector addition, and slopes and equations of lines, Saxon features all the topics covered in a standard high school geometry course. Two-tone illustrations help students really "see" the geometric concepts, while sidebars provide additional notes, hints, and topics to think about. Parents will be able to easily help their students with the solutions manual, which includes step-by-step solutions to each problem in the student book; and quickly assess performance with the test book (test answers included). Tests are designed to be administered after every five lessons after the first ten.
Please Note: This is the third printing and errors to date have been corrected.

Ask a Question
▼▲Q: What calculator is needed for the Saxon Geometry?
This curriculum requires a graphing calculator.
Q: errors in Geomtery? I am hesitant to buy Saxon geometry as the Algebra half had many errors in the solution manual. Please could you tell me whether there are any errors in the geometry course as there have been complaints made on the reviews. Have the errors been corrected? Thank you.
In the first print run there were some errors in this curriculum. These have been corrected and we have not heard of any problems for quite some time.
Q: geometry workbooks. Whats the difference between the student workbook and the adapted workbook, besides the number of pages?
The Geometry course doesn't have either a Student Workbook or Adapted Workbook.
Q: when to study Geometry? When should a high school student study geometry? Is it after Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 Saxon math?Thank you
If your student is required to complete a separate Geometry course, Saxon Geometry can be taken either between Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 or after Algebra 2. If not, the heart of the geometry course is embedded in Saxon's Algebra 2 and Advanced Math. Students who complete Algebra 2 have taken the equivalent of one semester in geometry, but they would need to complete Advanced Math in order to complete one full year of Euclidean geometry.
