This study is a great source of information and encouragement for dealing with offense. The book was a life changing read for me. It was convicting; always a good thing! And it helped open my eyes to things I had never thought of. It really was a good study. We went through this series with our church, get the dvd's for a group study, they are wonderful; and my wife and I went through the book a couple years later. We love John Bevere.
The title was interesting especially when the author explained that bait referenced the concept of offense.

I am only half way through the book and I have learned a lot. I am looking forward to finishing it because it is so helpful in dealing with complicated situations involving offenses. That is true for that pastor as well as the people.
Our Women's Ministry is doing the book, dvd and the workbook. As others have said, "an eye opener" and "life changing". My friend said " I didn't think I had anything against anyone. Then the Lord showed me". It's a path to new freedom you didn't know you needed.
A friend loaned me her copy of this book. What a life changing, eye opening experience! John Bevere explains in a no nonsense, scripture based approach as to why everyone, but especially Christians need to release themselves from the burdens of un-Christlike attitudes as a result of offenses we experience in our lives.
