LGHudsonMississippiAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5BEAUTIFUL STORY OF RESTORATION!March 15, 2024LGHudsonMississippiAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Sandcastle Inn (Hope Harbor Book #10) by Irene Hannon is a beautiful restoration story. What I like best about this book is that Hannon has created relatable characters because she writes them as flawed people at major turning points in their lives. Hannon provides a plot that allows the characters of Vienna and Matt to meet, and each has their own set of problems. Will it be possible for the struggling Sandcastle Inn to be the common factor to solve their problems? Hannon shows how God works through all things while these two work to restore the Inn. He provides soul restoration and allows these two to draw closer to Him and each other. I highly recommend this excellent book!

Terri Gillespie5 Stars Out Of 5Take Me Away to Hope Harbor! Please!March 15, 2024Terri GillespieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Irene Hannon's tenth book in the Hope Harbor series, SANDCASTLE INN has taken residence in the quaint and charming town. The town welcomes new residents who are hungry for second chances, forgiveness, healing, and hope. Oh, and Charley's fish tacos.
THE STORY: Vienna was just dealt a blow to her life plans and ego when she is laid off from her dream corporate job with a boutique hotel chain. She decides to visit her free-spirited mother who has just opened a bookstore in Hope Harbor. Vienna plans to lick her wounds and prepare to find a new job.
Matt, a veterinarian who struggles with grief and guilt over tragic losses, takes a long-needed vacation at his sister's new bed and breakfast in Hope Harbor. He quickly learns his sister is in over her head with the property she purchased on a whim--sight unseen. He agrees to help while she travels out of state to help a dear family friend.
Vienna and Matt have a complex and fascinating past. As usual, Hannon knows how to build community and utilize former characters from precious previous books to gather the hurt and lost to be embraced by the unique spirit that is Hope Harbor.
I love my visits to Hope Harbor. They never fail to inspire.
Highly recommended for fans of Hope Harbor, contemporary romance, Christian romance, stories that include community, forgiveness, and new beginnings. And a few quirky characters.
I received an ARC from the publisher for my honest review. -
DianFlowW. Columbia, SCAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Hope & Healing!March 12, 2024DianFlowW. Columbia, SCAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5That does it! I'm officially moving to the magical, small town of Hope Harbor, Oregon--with its quaint coffee shops, tasty restaurants, a Bohemian vibish bookstore, gorgeous secluded beaches, and even a delicious taco stand! Anyone care to go with me?
The malodorous meet-cute between the two main characters was less than romantic to be sure, but who knew Matt Quinn would clean up so well?...certainly not Vienna Price! The two put their heads together to restore a floundering B&B in a limited amount of time...Matt, however, has a successful veterinarian practice in CA and Vienna a lucrative career in Denver and a month's R&R is all they can spare to regroup. But the peaceful, small-town allure of Hope Harbor has a way of digging its hooks in and not letting go.
Filled with charming, wise characters such as Charlie, the master taco maker, Vienna's mother, Bev, and the bantering priest and minister whose quips are sure to bring a smile, Hope Harbor is a refuge of healing for hurting souls. Be sure to book a room in the Sandcastle Inn for a visit--you may not want to leave!

MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5FamilyFebruary 7, 2024MaureenTSyracuse NYGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Sandcastle Inn (A Hope Harbor Novel Book #10): A Hope Harbor Novel - eBook.I love being back in Hope Harbor, Charlie and his fish tacos, and our pair of seagulls, and the beautiful seashore.
Charlie seems to always be in the know and at the right place at the right time. This time we have a young woman who has lost her corporate job and visiting her Mom, then we have a man who is going to help his sister restore her disrepair inn, and then a couple really down on their luck.
The author has this group of people come together, and we are there to see how they all come together, and the part Charlie plays.
We also have a Mom, she wants a relationship with her daughter, but boy does she have a lot of surprises for her.
In the end there are decisions to be made, and some healing, along with some sweet romance!
As usual I love my visits to Hope Harbor, and they never disappoint!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revell, and was not required to give a positive review. -
