Tell us a little about yourself. I am a public school teacher in New York City, a minister of children in New Rochelle, New York, a wife and a mother of three beautiful children ages 4 and under. It is my passion to teach children and their families about Jesus Christ.
What was your motivation behind this project? My son, Samuel, inspired the writing of this book. His love for pancakes helped me to understand what God wanted me to write about, using pancakes as the center to teach children that Jesus wants us to be unselfish and kind.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It is my hope that Samuel's Pancakes will move children to be more kind and less selfish in different situations as they move through life.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Parents and other family members can take notice of the family dynamic in this story. The story also gives a simple example of what being a good neighbor and friend looks like. Use this book in your home, in you children's church, and in your christian school, and be blessed by the simplicity of Samuel's Pancakes!
