BernCaliforniaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Interesting book for young girlsJuly 8, 2014BernCaliforniaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is called On the Scene by Robin Carol. On the Scene was a good book but it wasn't my type of book. I usually don't read mysteries.
Although it isn't my type of book I really liked it once I started to read it. This book is about a girl named Samantha Sanderson. Samantha or Sam is a thirteen year-old who really wants to become a reporter when she grows up. Samantha is part of a cheerleader squad and part of the school newspaper and blog. This book is also about a friend of Sam's getting bullied. Sam doesn't know what to do. She struggles with asking should she try to keep it a secret or should she tell the school through the school blog? Will the bully be found? Find out and read the book for yourself.
I would recommend this book for ages 9 and up. This book is Christian fiction and a mystery. The characters' Christian faith help them make choices and accept changes in their lives. I would recommend it because it had a good story, had just the right amount of mystery and is a christian book with appropriate themes for kids in this age group. Even if at first it was not my type of book, once I started reading it I started to enjoy it!
