ButterflyMom5 Stars Out Of 5Great movie1June 10, 2015ButterflyMomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I loved this movie in every way! I have watched it twice now, once with my husband. He also liked it!
The fact that the characters in this movie are real, really made this worth the money for me.
I was inspired by the behind the scenes portion. To hear real testimony's of how these two people have made a true difference in the lives of so many young males, was awesome! This is a great movie to show to Churches that have members that are struggling with this same issue. Struggles and trials and disappointment are always opportunity's. This message is well played out here.
The whole "play it forward" concept is presented here but not in a "preachy way".
Glad I have this one in my home library. The concept of a happily married couple, troubled youth thrown in their path,
a water setting, boats and fun will also attract more males to this movie. This is definitely a movie the entire family can watch AND enjoy together.
The scantily clad females part, (while realistic, it is set on the water) was the only part I took issue with.
Gena5 Stars Out Of 5Safe Harbor is a "Must See"December 1, 2014GenaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Sometimes I come across a movie that I think, "Everyone must see this movie." This is one of those movies. It's a great story told well. The power of grace, hope, and real love can do amazing things in people's lives. Sometimes we all just need someone to believe in us. Be that one who encourages others.
This is not a "Christian" movie. Most movies aren't. Most good movies aren't. I am very discriminating in my movie choices and this is one of the best contemporary movies I've seen. It's not sappy, preachy, or pathetic. It is real life redemption.

My husband is an avid sailor
We met and married later in life
We were not able to have children
We are youth ministers in our church
So I wanted to see what this real life couple did for children in need. We were amazed at the wonderful ministry this couple began and continue serving in this manner. WOW!

Excellent story line, nothing that the whole family cannot watch. I like movies that are based on a true story and are uplifting and inspiring; this film was all of this and more.
