Veronica5 Stars Out Of 5Best book on the subject!December 15, 2014VeronicaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've read quite a few books on dating and marriage and this has surpassed them all! It gets straight to the point and brings out the simplicity of choosing a mate but also the practical and little things that make a huge difference. I think every Christian who is dating or wants to get married should read this book!
Booky5 Stars Out Of 5The Sacred SearchOctober 11, 2014BookyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is amazingly insightful. It contains insights I know and have been taught, but to see it in writing is so encouraging. This is definitely a book that every born again believer needs to read, ingest, and digest before being married.
Katrina MarieOld Bridge, NJAge: 18-24Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great content!December 26, 2013Katrina MarieOld Bridge, NJAge: 18-24Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book has revolutionized the way I look at, engage in, and pursue relationship. It has given me a new perspective of marriage and courtship in such a way that I now have the confidence to allow a relationship with an amazing, godly young man to occur. I was always fearful of relationship because I did not want to waste "his" or my time, emotions, and energy. However, after reading this book, I have realized I would be a fool to let this particular young man walk by. God is so good and Gary Thomas is a spectacular writer. The book is engaging and life-changing.

SuzyLancaster, PAAge: 45-54Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5Parts are terrific, but had some reservations.October 11, 2013SuzyLancaster, PAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3I LOVED "Sacred Marriage" by the same author. I went into reading this book with high expectations. I liked a lot of his cautions, his emphasis on the person you marry being the father of your children, the porn trap, reasons for getting married, and more.
I did feel that he talked out of both sides of his mouth, saying there isn't one soul mate (I agree), but there were MANY areas in which he felt it was important to be compatible making it seem nearly impossible to find someone who would meet all the criteria he puts forth.
