Emanuel Pavel4 Stars Out Of 5alearga pentru sanatatea ta inainte de a alerga duFebruary 1, 2012Emanuel PavelQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4Invitatia celor de la Tyndale House Publishers de a parcurge un devotional adresat special alergatorilor mi s-a parut ceva demn de luat in considerare pentru periaoda de viata in care ma aflu.
The Runner's Devotional: Inspiration and Motivation for Life's Journey_On and Off the Road, scrisa de o o echipa inedita tata -fata, Dave Veerman - Dana Niesluchowski contine multe sfaturi utile celor aflati la inceputul sau implicati mai de mult in activitati fizice.
Noutatea unui astfel de devotional nu este doar publicul tinta ci si strucurarea pe saptamani si nu pe zile. Cred deasemenea ca poate fi parcurs mai greu de persoane care nu isi propun activitate fizica zilnica.

It has become so much more than a physical activity for me. The Runner's Devotional has been helpful in leading me into spiritual application. It is also a great motivator on those days I don't "feel like it". The runner's log in the back of each chapter is helpful in recording my progress from day to day. I've only been reading this devotional for about 4 weeks, but so far it has been an insightful companion. I'm beginning to train for a 10K and there are several different running/training plans in the back of the book! How great is that! Although it is only a guide, I know it will be helpful in helping me achieve my goal of running a 10K. The personal stories and achievements shared in each devotion help me know I can do it too! A good choice for beginning runners and avid runners alike.
Lynn P5 Stars Out Of 5Perfect for all runner'sOctober 1, 2011Lynn PQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I started running back in January 2011. I wasn't a runner before that time. Over the months I've been working towards becoming a better runner, like running longer and faster. When I had the opportunity to review this book I was excited. I truly was looking forward to finding help in running with motivation and to use my running for God. I love how the reading is short, applies to my workouts and is perfect for any runner new or seasoned. I love the tips, and the weekly runner's log. I can keep everything together in this one book. I am so happy to see there is a devotional for runner's and I look forward to reading the entire book this year..
Anthony Shuler4 Stars Out Of 5Not badSeptember 5, 2011Anthony ShulerQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This book is a weekly devotional that was meant to span an entire year (52 weeks). Each week contains a running log, tips on running, inspiration from the Scriptures, and personal stories from people. It's a mediocre devotional but a good resource to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Further, the entries are very short so you really only read one day a week so it isn't really time consuming or a hassle to add to your regular mountain of devotionals you may be reading.
