Tell us a little about yourself. My name is pronounced "duh-lease". I am a retired, single female who loves Lord Jesus. I have been born again for over thirty years, and I want to shout the good news about His kingdom from the rooftops.
What was your motivation behind this project? The inspiration for writing my testimony, and this discipleship study, came when I was released from my job on Valentines Day in 2012 due to budget cuts. It was then the Spirit of the Lord told me to share the stories about my amazing adventures with God, which many people had been urging me to do for years.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? The recognition of who they really are in Lord Jesus, Kingdom of Heaven royalty, so they can prepare themselves to reign with Him when He returns. Also, to fulfill His great commission to share His message with the world and make disciples themselves.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? As I wrote, even more information about His kingdom was revealed. In addition, I began to understand other things in Scripture which I had often wondered about myself.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Two books that I read shortly after being born again have continued to inspire me. "The Practice of the Presence of God", by Brother Lawrence, which showed me the importance of drawing near to my heavenly Father on a daily basis. Also, "Rees Howells - Intercessor", by Norman Grubb, which encouraged me to do battle through prayer for the kingdom of heaven.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Being born again is a joy ride on a grand scale, and our heavenly Father wants us to enjoy the journey with Him.
