Roxanne and the Healer is a tale about the bond we all feel when we learn to love, trust, forgive, and open our hearts to healing.
It is the adventures of a homeless man, a dog of many personalities, and a time in history when trust was a very difficult thing to do, but through a series of adventures, and difficult times, and some very scary trials, they come full circle and find something more precious than anything they ever dreamed As you read this book, I know that you will laugh, cry, and enjoy every adventure, and maybe even see your pet or a little of yourself in the characters of this story, as I did in the writing this tale of the heart

Tell us a little about yourself. First of all I am a Christian, I follow the way of Jesus, he is my all, and without him this book would not have been. I have worked at the same animal clinic for 26 years and have a love for His animals.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to write a book that included my love of animals, and my devotion to Jesus.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that they gain some insight on the wonderful world of animals, and also how much our Father in Heaven loves us. I hope they enjoy the story and leave it feeling satsifed and inspired. I also pray that the message of the story will touch their hearts and instill a hunger to find out more about the life of Jesus.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? This is my first book, and it was quite an experience. I felt that God was my constant helper in writing this story, and I felt that I got a little closer to him, by depending on him to lead me through this book. And now letting him place this book into the hands that he desires.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My main influence of course was Jesus Christ. My inspiration was my own pets, watching them give unconditional love to me and my husband and how they are always there to give and recieve love.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Juat that I really enjoyed writing this first book, and I hope that God will bless me with being able to write another. I hope whoever reads this book will enjoy it from cover to cover and leave it with a wonderful feeling from it's simple message.
