After living for Jesus these 40 plus years, and having many, many Bibles, this is my favorite. BUT... the print is SO small and light. It is worth the strain and extra effort, but i wish they would remake this. The translator does use old English ("thee's and thou's") but that does not put me off. Again, it's worth the extra effort to translate in my mind.

I do not like the emphasized bible .I did not know what it meant by emphasized or i would not have gotten it.I only wanted a rotherhams verison bible.I do not like all the acute accent vertical bars and angle brackets. Also the words were not dark enough not enough ink and had to strain my eyes to make out the words.

I am very impressed with this translation being so accurate in many regards to the original Hebrew and Greek languages of the manuscripts. I use several versions and compare to an interlinear, interpreting scripture with scripture. It takes a little practice and study to understand the emphasis notations. I did notice that some of the pages have slightly lighter black font than others, so reading glasses or a magnifier may come in handy for anyone with less than ideal vision. I love this version, it is the version of my choice now.
