Rose/Henderson publications are always put together with timelines and pictures and highlighted text for easy to understand reading. There are 170 reproducible pages in clear readable print that will help you with Family Devotion time and Bible Teaching at Sunday School.
We all have the part of the Bible that we are familiar with more than others, but now you can get to know the bible in chronological order of events with a brief summary of each book, charted and outlined with maps and timelines.
I have always highly recommended Rose books of this caliber and I plan to acquire all of them in my home library for personal study and teaching.

Chris5 Stars Out Of 5A Great Addition to My Library!September 12, 2019ChrisQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Reading Rose's "Chronological Guide to the Bible" brought me a familiar sense of excitement which I have come to expect when beginning to read anything published by Rose Publishing. The design of the book with its appealing, colourful, visual graphics make the whole presentation easy-on-the-eye. It entices the reader to turn the cover and then each following page.
The language in which the book is written is pleasant and easy to read and understand. This language choice makes the information more accessible to a larger group of readers who are interested in studying the content of the book without being bogged down with technical jargon which can dishearten the lay student.
As one might expect from the title, the book goes through the whole bible story chronologically which puts everything in order allowing readers to grasp the whole scope of the story. All 12 chapters of the book state the books of the bible to which they will be referring and provide a timeframe in Calendar years to educate the reader as to the era in which the story occurred. The are many information boxes on the sides of the pages which further support the chapter content as well as side boxes of summarized information on each of the biblical books relative to that chapter. (There is also an excellent graphic displaying the ages of all the key biblical characters. This was really awesome to see)
There are many wonderful tables utilized throughout the text to help the reader grasp certain important topics, for example, The Covenant of the bible, Ten plagues that were put on to the Egyptians, Feasts of Israel, feasts of Israel Calendar Wheel, Cycle in the Book of Judges (of the Israelites relationship with God), Israel's Kings and Prophets and a comparison table between the works of Peter and Paul.
There is also a really helpful comparison table between the four gospel writers based on the following topics as they refer to Jesus, Birth and Childhood, Early Ministry, Ministry Primarily in Galilee, Ministry in Judea and Perea, Jesus' Last Week (broken down into days of the week) and Appearances and Ascension.
Towards the end of the book in the Views of End Times chapter, there are easily comprehendible summaries of Premillennialism, Amillennialism, Dispensational Premillennialism and Postmillennialism each supported with simple yet educational graphics, which are most helpful.
In this new edition to Rose's excellent menu of Christian educational materials, it seems they have taken everything and simplified in the most appropriate manner so as to instill curiosity and learning yet remain educational by not losing any of the core important biblical concepts.
A definite must buy for those to wanting to learn more about the bible and Christianity without having the time to get bogged down in deep intellectual jargon.
Rose Publishing has provided me with an advanced reader copy for this review. I am unaffiliated with Rose Publishing and this is a true and honest review.

Rescued by God5 Stars Out Of 5Rose Chronological Guide to the BibleSeptember 17, 2019Rescued by GodRose Chronological Guide to the Bible
The Bible is an incredible book that spans thousands of years. The Rose Chronological Guide to the Bible is also an incredible book that presents the Bible as the events occurred in time order. That is helpful to understand what has take place since Creation and what will take place in the eternal future. This book is presented in an easy to read format that includes many charts, graphs and maps all in color.
This guide would be extremely helpful for someone new to the Bible or someone well seasoned in Bible experience. There is enough detail to be thorough with being overwhelming. The graphics support the documentation while the pictures stir the imagination.
I received a copy of this book in PDF format which is great. I would surmise that the hard copy format would be even better. I highly recommend this guide to the Bible to anyone who learn what is contained in it.
I am a pastor and I will find this guide too. I believe you will too! -
