Celebrate Jesus as the Light of the world with this ancient Hebrew symbol of God's eternal radiance. Adorned with emblems of Israel's 12 tribes, Star of David, and ichthus, this distinctive brass menorah uses traditional Shabbat candles. Measures 6" high.
I ordered this for a friend, thinking that she could use it on Shabbat. However, it would not hold seven candles because some of the holders were not completely all there. She had to send it back because it was not useable. It was a gift, and she was very disappointed. The construction left much to be desired.
While this is a really pretty and heavy brass menorah, it isn't really a menorah! If you are looking for a traditional menorah, you have to have one with eight candles and one extra "shamash" candle, which is used to light the others. This "menorah" has only seven candle spaces, while a true menorah has nine, one of which is raised or lowered for the shamash. Pay close attention to the item image when ordering! I didn't, and have to return this now. :(
