A good laymen's commentary on the Epistle to the Romans.

Dr. R. C. Sproul has a gift that allows him to communicate in such a way that even advanced and complex concepts are explained so that laymen can understand them. He's my favorite Evangelical Christian teacher today. My misconceptions about Reformed Doctrine and History were removed by Sproul's writings. There are a lot of good commentaries on the Epistle to the Romans, and this one is among the best for laymen. I especially recommend Dr. Sproul's Three-Volume Commentary on the Westminster Confession and What is Reformed Theology, which I read in 1998 under its original title Grace Unknown.
