Rocky Mountain Sabotage by Jill Elizabeth Nelson is a Love Inspired suspense novel. Lauren Carter and her mother board a chartered flight from New York to California for a vacation. As they fly over the Rockies their plane is sabotaged and they crash near an abandoned mining town in the mountains. Someone on the plane wants everyone dead! But who is it? Lauren along with pilot Kent Garland must figure out who the saboteur is and find a way to contact rescuers before everyone ends up dead. I really enjoyed this book. There is enough humor to keep the suspense from getting too much; and the ending twist came right out of left field. Definitely a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat, page-turner.

Rocky Mountain Sabotage had my interest from the start and held it until the last page of the book (great epilogue too). It's great summer reading - it kept me up pass 2 am. :) Oh, and I didn't guess who the culprit was until all was revealed at the end!

Short summary: Kent Garland is a retired air force pilot who now runs his own luxury charter service. When the latest flight run gets sabotaged by what felt like a bomb of some sort, Kent must rely on all his military training and God's grace to bring the plane down among the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. If they make it out of the plane alive, Kent must not only piece together what went wrong on the flight, but also figure out how he and the passengers can stay alive. When Lauren, a passenger, ends up being in the medical field, Kent starts to feel they may have a chance. But will they be able to work together and get everyone out of the coming cold weather? And why did the plane go down in the first place? Hadn't Kent checked everything before they took off from New York?

Great read that is totally worth the shelf space and has a good re-readability value. Would make a great Hallmark Mystery Movie. No profanity or sexually explicit content and while there is violence, it is not overly described. Good suspense.

    Happy Reading! :D

Action, adventure, intrigue and the sizzle of romance! And there's plenty of fodder for the armchair sleuth. The reader becomes acquainted with all the characters during the intense plane crash scenes -- and pay attention -- one of them is up to no good! But which one? As the story progresses we learn more about each individual's personality as they react to the danger and uncertainty in desperate ways. My head was spinning with possibilities (or maybe it was from hyperventilating over hero Sawyer.) In any case, I definitely felt light-headed by the time I reached the resounding climatic end. Phew!
