This is an excellent book. "It has the "theory" behind poetry writing and then it has exercises to complete. The chapters each teach a different trope and so much more. I used this with a group of jr. and sr. high school girls along with Matt Whitling's Grammar of Poetry. We had lots of fun and published an anthology at the end of it all. Helped us to produce a very nice collection of poems.
