Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a mother of three teenage children. I have a Master's degree in Divinity as well as an MBA. I live north of Columbus, Ohio and I enjoy connecting with people younger and older. I believe we all can be a blessing to each other and I know God put us together for a reason. My hope and prayer is that we desire to know our purpose, and desire to clean our own internal house of personal issues so we can be more of who God designed each of us to be for Him and for our self. In doing so, we can grow closer to each other in Christ and enjoy the Kingdom of God here on earth together.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Troubled times motivated me to run toward God fast and furious, not run from Him. In doing so, God inspired me to write this book, presenting material not always spoken about in church services, but needed for the body of believers.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope people will gain a greater understanding of the generational consequenses to our sinful decsions. My hope is that people will desire to be more open to allowing Christ work through them for the Kingdom of God, and enjoy their journey as a child of God.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  This book kept me focused in a time of need in my life. My daily devotions were stronger as I asked God to lead me through each subject matter and chapter. It was very enjoyable and brought me hope.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Dr. Terry Wardle of Healing Care Ministries, Dr. William Payne, Rev. ThomasSnyder and Dr. Paul Overland of Ashland Theological Seminary were all strong influences of mine. Also, the book, "Everyone Is Normal, Until You Get To Know Them" was an easy read and practical. I love music and some of my favorite Christian artists are: Toby Mac, Third Day, Brandon Heath, Barlow Girl, Kutless, Mandisa, Holly Smith, Newsboys, 10 Avenue North, Britt Nicole, Switchfoot and many others!

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  You are more than the choices you have made... Be humble, be courageous when the Holy Spirit guides your thoughts, words and actions. Read your Bible daily and you will be more grateful for who God has created you to be. Most of all, be loving toward yourself and others.
