BKB7Kona, HIAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Couldn't put the book down, A Must Read!November 9, 2011BKB7Kona, HIAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The book had a 3D quality, that was so well textured that I felt as I was right there experiencing all of it. The story line was so realistic that it could've been written about numerous people from my childhood. She captured the essence of Hawai'i completely (having been raised there myself), and defined the struggles and triumphs that this up and coming generation from Hawai'i and abroad are faced with. The underlying currents of the book were powerful and revolutionary. I know that many youth will be impacted by this book and the ones that follow. I only wish I had read this book when I was a teenager! I will continue to promote this book to parents and their teens.
