Publisher's Description

Those who study the book of Revelation usually view it from one of several positions regarding a time of tribulation, the rapture of the church, and the thousand-year reign of Christ on earth. Some have used Revelation to pinpoint present and future events ranging from the identity of the Antichrist to the exact date and hour of Christ's return. What can we know about the book of Revelation? What should we make of its visions of apocalyptic horsemen, horns with faces, flying angels, and fantastic beasts? More important, what meaning does it hold for us here and now, and how can we apply it to our lives?

Revelation, A Video Study features top New Testament scholar Craig S. Keener teaching through the book of Revelation in 22 engaging and challenging lessons. Based on Keener's Revelation commentary in the NIV Application Commentary series, these lessons explore the links between the Bible's final book and how we should live our lives today. With honesty and scholarly insight, each session shows how Revelation strengthens our hope in the future while enabling us to live out our Christian faith wisely in the present.

Revelation, A Video Study is part of the Zondervan Beyond the Basics Video Series, which is dedicated to bringing expert teaching from world's best biblical scholars and theologians directly to interested learners. Revelation, A Video Study offers you the chance to learn about one of the Bible's most important books from one of today's premier New Testament scholars.
