Getting a glimpse into the future is always intriguing, especially when that glimpse comes from Gods Word. But lets face it, the book of Revelation has some pretty weird stuff in it: seven-headed beasts, locusts with gold crowns, a city coming down from the sky. What does it all mean, and how does it help you in your Christian faith? This lighthearted yet accurate guide to the last book of the Bible will help you overcome the confusion. Engaging and user-friendly, The Book of Revelation for Blockheads helps you: Understand the message of this often misunderstood book chapter by chapter Discover what Revelation says about how end-time events will unfold Make sense of all the symbolism See how Revelation relates to other parts of the Bible Learn how others interpret controversial parts Worship God with a new vision of his glory and ultimate triumph, and of what that means for you

george mains5 Stars Out Of 5June 15, 2008george mainsThis is a very good book for someone who would wants to gain some understanding about end times and the book of Revelation. Although his view is premillennial the author includes other viewpoints which is helpful and time saving when teaching a class. You don't need to spend a lot of time researching the other views. I believe the book does what it says on the cover; makes sense of symbolism, relates the book to the rest of the Bible, shows how others interpret controversial passages, and shows how the end times events unfold. It does this in a very readable and clear way.
Jim Wilburn5 Stars Out Of 5April 11, 2008Jim WilburnAs a pastor of a Christian Church who is preaching a series of sermons through the book of Revelation I can acknowledge that Connally's book is a huge and helpful tool in both sermon preparation and well as personal understanding of the book of Revelation. Connally authors this bood in a both fun and clear way. I am indeed blessed that I bought this book.
