ciceroDes Moines, IAAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent Handling of Book of RevelationJune 28, 2022ciceroDes Moines, IAAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I found this book to be very good for the Christian who is serious about learning more about Bible prophecy without getting entangled in confusion. It is also good for a reader who hasn't been familiar with the Bible; the book is interesting. Amir goes through the book of Revelation without flooding the reader's comprehension. He uses a comfortable, friendly tone. He reads a passage in sequence, discusses the passage for the average reader's understanding, then moves on to the next verses with a purpose of letting the reader see that he can certainly grasp the action as it happens. Another facet of the book is the urgency to be "right with God," to take care of your sinful condition by turning your back on sin and seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ. I not only recommend this book, but also I have purchased more as gifts for others who think that they "can't understand the Revelation." This book would be appropriate for adults and for Christian young people, especially high schoolers or graduates. A one-time read will not be enough to feel completely knowledgeable. Revelation is challenging, so consider gifting this book to those who will read it, rather than loaning it. This book is the best tool I have seen for jumping into the unknown waters of Revelation. It is worth the cost, especially Christianbook's price when on sale. On another note, I am a bibliophile, and I admire this book; it's artistically designed and luxurious to hold.

Annie5 Stars Out Of 5Revealing RevelationsJune 8, 2022AnnieEnjoyed this book immensely. I have Amir Tsarfati's other books which are all great readings; he does not disappoint with this one either. Well written. A difficult subject to write about but done with obvious research under the Holy Spirit's guidance. His writing style is great - bursts of tasteful lightheartedness to break the dark moments that happen when reading Revelation. Recommended reading/study for everyone!

Kristina's Shelves5 Stars Out Of 5If you're looking to read just one book on Revelation, let it be this one!May 24, 2022Kristina's ShelvesQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Revelation is my favorite book of the Bible to study and Tsarfati's comprehensive approach to tackling this book of prophecy is fantastic. The book is split into five sections: Jesus and His Church, A Journey to Heaven, The Judgements of the Lamb, The Reign of the King, and Eternity. Each of these sections is made up of chapters that follow along with each chapter of Revelation, breaking down and examining the test.
Tsarfati does a great job of highlight the major theories for some of the less straightforward sections, providing Scriptural evidence for which he believes. He takes a literal about the Bible, unless the text is clear that something is a metaphor. I agree with his assertion that taking a metaphorical approach to Revelation often leads to eisegesis/reading ourselves into the text to support a view that isn't present in the Word. He also frequently talks about the original Greek words used by John, which is essential to truly understanding the Bible. Also, many thanks to the author for capitalizing God's pronouns!
This book also just feels good, whatever treatment was done to the paperback makes it feel like suede. This has nothing to do with the content, but it was a comfortable book to hold. I'm off to go read everything else Tsarfati has published thus far, including his fiction debut that I already own!
