Meanwhile, Keira's beloved 17-year-old niece, Kirsten, has just discovered an unwanted pregnancy. Her boyfriend, Jose, is bound for college and Kirsten does not know what to do. As the family comes together for a reunion, Keira and Kirsten struggle with their fractured pasts and jumbled present. It does deal w/ heart break but to go on & on in each chapter by beating out the same confusion of what to do. I think some of that could have been trimmed out successfully. I will finish it but it leaves me a bit depressed having similar experiences in my family. I am holding on for a pleasant ending.

Will I read any more of her books, I don't know. This has become an emotional dreary read for me. Guess it is bringing up old wounds of 18 years ago and all the years of dealing w/ dead beat father of my grandchild.

I thought it was a totally diff storyline from the cute cover picture, though the product text told the storyline.

I just finished this book which I could not put down. It was superb in my eyes. I have all 20 bks. of Lauraine on the Blessings Series except for next one to come out. I have several of her other books as well too. However, now I will be ordering more of the non-blessing books. In this book, two related families were each facing a crisis in their lives & were keeping secrets from one another until it all leaked out. I don't want to give any information about the book & spoil for someone else. All I can say is, it was another fantastic book written by Lauraine. What the glue is that holds these families together, is their strong faith in our God Almighty, as they put everything in His hands as hard as it is while they are going through the crisis at the time. Its all about love of family, sticking together, trusting God and how all things came together with God at the center of their lives. The book dealt with issues so many people face in their everyday lives. Also, being Christian families, it was even harder for them to try to deal with each their own situations, but in the end by being prayerful families & putting their trust in God, it showed how it all came together for them. I found this book very compelling & quite profound. As always, Lauraine gives nothing but the best in her writings & this tops it as well as all her other books. Truthfully, I can't get enough of her books and I go from one to another........I get 99% of my books from and I will keep ordering more of her books that I don't have yet, but so far, I have bookshelves filled with all her books I have purchased up to present time. Great read & would absolutely recommend this book as well.

Powerful read about the things that families go through. This book is so relatable because we all have things that occur within our families that cause us trials and tribulations. We must ban together like the characters in the book and overcome these trials. First book of Lauraine Snelling's I have read but will definitely be reading more.
