K AAge: 45-54Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Return From TomorrowApril 27, 2019K AAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleThis review was written for Return from Tomorrow.I found this book in a Christian church library when I was in high school and I have read it numerous times since then and love it. The book has nothing to do with Mormanism. It is a Christian book and a true story of a young man who encounters Christ after dying from double lobar pneumonia during WWII while undergoing basic training in dusty Amarillo, Tx.
In this amazing story, George describes making a commitment to Christ at age 11, then meeting Christ upon his death at age 20. Jesus shows him amazing truths about what happens to souls who have not made Christ the treasure of their hearts. Upon returning to his body, George looks for Jesus everywhere and finds him in the eyes of a dear Christian named Jack Helms. The book is profound with wisdom if you have the eyes to see. I found the chapter on people who had pursued science/academics/music... (at the expense of knowing God) in this life - still being bound to that "seeking" realm in the next. Even though Christ, who they were ultimately seeking, was standing in their midst, they had no awareness that he was there. They had not been given "new" eyes (spiritual understanding) because they had not asked for his salvation when they lived on the Earth. Jesus is described as very compassionate and graciously loving in this wonderful book. Fascinating and highly recommend reading. -
KeuiHsin Engelhard5 Stars Out Of 5August 23, 2010KeuiHsin EngelhardThis review was written for Return from Tomorrow, 30th Anniversary Edition. This book plays a very important role in my life. I read the Chinese translation in 1980 and I turned from a big head "science worshiper" to a Christian in 1981. I still shared his story even today. A must read book.

Marky Mander5 Stars Out Of 5RETURN FROM TOMORROWOctober 17, 2019Marky ManderQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Return from Tomorrow / Special edition - eBook.i would like to set the record straight. i have read this book numerous times over the past 30 years. Dr. Ritchie is NOT SAYING THAT OTHER LOST SOULS ROAMED AND WENT INTO OTHER LIVING PEOPLE.
What he said was that other souls vicariously were enjoying watching these living people get drunk, etc. The idea that he would say something so erroneous is unbelievable. The book is a loving tribute to the love Our Brother Jesus has for all of us...no matter what we are doing and experienceing here. What Dr. Ritchie experienced was Jesus beside each and every one of us regardless of our faults and virtues. Thanks for listening, Marky Mander -

It was very inspirational to me. This was not a morman book at all. Something I dont understand but this book made me want to live for Jesus Christ. In fact I believe the author after this experience lived for Jesus the rest of His life. Jesus is real and Jesus loves you
