Resurrection Eggs make a great spiritual addition to your Egg Hunt

Mix these in with all your other Easter eggs (number them with a black marker first, 1-12). After the hunt and while refreshments are being served, call out each number, one at a time, and ask the child holding the egg to open it and share how the object relates to Christ's final week. (parents are welcome to help). The booklet that comes with the eggs also helps with this, telling the Easter story by each egg's contents. Also provided is access to an online resource for activities to round out your day. I collect the eggs back at the end, giving each child a new egg with a small risen Christ figure in it. Always a hit, whether for church, neighborhood, or family. (Note: this activity can run from one hour (for hunt, refreshments, and story telling) up to all day if filled out with a meal and other suggested activities).

I have used the Resurrection Eggs for several years, teaching my own children, Sunday School and other Children's Ministries. They are a great object lesson to teach the awesome meaning of Easter !

Love them! My 4 year old was so happy with this. A fun little way to tell this story, and for her to really listen to each part. She's been asking to bring it to her daycare class to show her friends!
