First, this is a novella. Got knocked down for not disclosing that.

Basic storyline: Francine goes to a bar to meet Mark, only she ends up going to dinner with Jack instead. The rest of the story is watching Jack's daughter Meaghan maneuver the couple into romance. He's tall, dark, rich and handsome. She's an independent business woman - etc. etc. etc. The most entertaining scene in the whole book is when Francine meets Fancy. Fancy's character was nailed to a "T". Had a similar experience with my own character, Ben so I easily related.

Storyline is basic; a few twists, but nothing that hasn't been done before. It's a decent read, but don't expect a lot of bible references or theological lessons.

If you're looking to kill a couple of hours on an airplane or bus ride, this would be a good time to read it.

I'll put I'd recommend it to a friend, but it's not something I'm going to go out and tell everyone they need to read.
