This book and not "Sinners in the hands of an angry God" is why Johnathan Edwards should be remembered. The theology in this book is excellent; I can see why he is regarded as America's greatest theologian. Be warned there is a lot to digest and mull over while reading. I'll have to read it again soon and then again in a year or two; this is the kind of book where you get a better understanding of the content and intention of the writer with every reading. We all need to examine ourselves as Paul tells us; Edwards explains what exactly we are to examine and watch out for. I loved every word of this edition of the book, the editing is also excellent, so as to be not so tedious as the original piece. Highly recommended reading for those who really care about their place in the kingdom.
