Ignite Your Passion. Live Your Purpose is an inspirational memoir of Tim Tebow's life that will help motivate readers to live their best life now, not continue putting their dreams on hold until 'some day'. Mr. Tebow uses examples from his personal life as an NFL quarterback and a professional baseball player, in addition to his Tim Tebow Foundation, to encourage readers to get out there and get moving, don't wait for the perfect time, or when you retire, or when you are rich, do it now and do it with passion.
While I am not a sports fan per se, I have heard a lot about Tim Tebow and his faith which really impressed me, so when invited to the launch team for this book, I jumped eagerly on board. I was excited when the book started off right away with the reminder that TODAY is the day to start living your dreams, no one is promised tomorrow. As I got deeper into the book, all of the sports references were kind of over my head and not really of interest to me, but I realized that as a huge sports name, of course he would write of what he knows and loves. Even more than sports, Tim loves Jesus, which clearly shines through the pages of his book. At the end of each of the twelve chapters, there is a Make This Your Day section that asks questions to help you think deeper about what you just read. Perfect for the teen boy who loves sports or an adult sports fan, this book will help inspire, encourage, and push you to stop waiting for life to begin and start making it happen NOW.
As part of the Multnomah Waterbrook Launch team, I was invited to and joined This Is The Day's book launch. I was given a free copy of the book, along with a This Is The Day stretch bracelet (which you got free with pre-orders of the book) in exchange for a fair review.
Diane5 Stars Out Of 5Inspiring and challengingDecember 26, 2018DianeI highly recommend this book to men, women and teens. Tim writes from his own life experiences, the good and the not so good. He is down-to-earth and honest about his own mistakes. He shares about how to hear God speak in small whispers and gentle nudges and how to pray for others in times of need. It is heart-warming to hear about the times he has been used by God to help others. It seems his goal is to not let any moment pass him by where he could serve or bless others. You won't want to stop reading. You will be challenged in your Christian walk. You will be inspired and encouraged to do more for others. The audiobook is well narrated, so give it a listen too.

Purpose.November 25, 2018Nay DeniseNJAge: 25-34Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5I've never read anything from Tim Tebow and didn't know much about him, but was pleasantly surprised by this book. I enjoyed many things about this book. From the quotes before each chapter, to the scripture references. This is not a book for those who don't seek change because this definitely prompts change for the better and getting back to your purpose God has for you. This is the kind of book that you can definitely read in 1-2 days, but I'd recommend a chapter a day. I love that this is an interactive book that asks you questions and get your mind thinking. I found that I was highlighting and answering the questions in a journal to get the full benefits of this book.
Tim shares some of his own personal experiences which gives for an intimate read, but also helps for one to see faith, steadfast love and praise through his storms and tribulations. This is one I would definitely recommend to my readers and those I know.
If you're looking for a book a Christian read with lots of biblical insight and one that will pull at your heart then go grab a copy!
Trailercrafter5 Stars Out Of 5This Is the DayNovember 23, 2018TrailercrafterQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5When I began this book, I was a bit skeptical. I am not really a big sports fan, so all I knew about Tim was what I'd heard through the media. I knew he was a football player and that he was a steadfast Christian, but I had no clue about his actual life beyond that.
Tim had me hooked in the first paragraph of the first chapter. This review is EXTREMEMLY late in coming, but that is because I could not just read parts of this book once and move on. I found myself going back and re-reading several excerpts over and over. You see, this book spoke to me unlike any other "self-help" book.
This book isn't merely a missive to get you to think like Tim or believe his ideas. The contents of this book are truth taken from scripture and with experiences Tim has had, shows how God has a plan for our lives, every moment of the day. THIS is the day to enact that plan God has for us. Start in this moment. It would be fair that this book is certainly anointed in its content and writing style.
The stories are touching, heart-felt and show the determination, heart and compassion of everyone involved. The concepts of faith, love, giving unconditionally, praising God through the storms and loving one another are spot on with Biblical principles and refreshing to read in this type of venue. While Tim does mention his foundation, he does not over-do it and make the reader to feel that this book is all about the foundation.
In all honesty, there wasn't one thing that I didn't like about this book. In fact, I will pass it on to family with a firm directive, "I want this one back!" You see, this is almost like a handbook to go back and reference to when we are feeling low, sorry for ourselves, not quite up to snuff or just downright belligerent.
