Have the Mormons ever left you unsure of what to say? Their arguments are convincing, their teachings seem indisputable, and their stand on what they believe is firm. How can you effectively communicate to the Mormons that their gospel does not match up with the Bible? One of the best ways is to ask penetrating questions.
Cult experts Ron Rhodes and Marian Bodine will help you understand the main points of Mormonism and discover where it falls short of God’s truth. They then equip you to ask strategic questions that challenge
- the Mormon claim to be the only true church
- the reliability of Mormon prophets
- the authenticity of the Book of Mormon
- Jesus’ supposed visit to ancient America
- the Mormon view of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
- and much more
You’ll find Reasoning from the Scriptures with the Mormons a valuable guide to responding to Mormons with confidence!
Ron Rhodes, president of Reasoning from the Scriptures Ministries, is heard regularly on nationwide radio and is the author of Bite-Size Bible Answers, Bite-Size Bible Definitions, Commonly Misunderstood Bible Verses and 5-Minute Apologetics for Today. He holds ThM and ThD degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and teaches there and at several other seminaries.
Charles Bair5 Stars Out Of 5reasoning from the Scriptures with MormonsDecember 9, 2016Charles BairQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This is yet another great book explaining how to have dialog with the lost religious people of our country. My co worker is a Fundamentalist Mormon so he even reverts further into the deception of times past for main stream Mormonism.
Thomas5 Stars Out Of 5A must read!November 5, 2012ThomasQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is incredible!! Ron explains Mormonism frontwards and backwards. He exposes every facet of the LDS. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who has a heart for Mormons.
Benjamin Oviedo5 Stars Out Of 5July 4, 2010Benjamin OviedoRon does a great job explaining Mormonism. I researched his quotes and Ron IS accurate on their beliefs and doctrines. I used this book (and tons of prayer)to witness to my Mormon friend to open his eyes. I really recommend this book for those seeking to preach to Mormons! Great job Ron!
Jessica5 Stars Out Of 5August 11, 2009JessicaSkip the intro, as Ron Rhodes is a little harsh since he was a Mormon at one time. The content in the book itself is priceless, as it helps you understand what scriptures are often taken out of context and what the true meaning of those scriptures are. A must read for anyone wanting to share their faith with a Mormon friend.
Calvin5 Stars Out Of 5August 29, 2007CalvinRon and Marian present a practical tool for defending the true Christian faith and reaching out to Mormons with the challenging truth of the gospel.
