The better your relationshipswith friends, family, the opposite sex, and Godthe better your life. This six-session, video-based study by acclaimed relationship experts Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, will help you learn to make bad relationships better and good relationships great. It all begins with a single sentence that can revolutionize every relationship. After sharing this one critical point, Les and Leslie encourage participants to take a look back at their own family, which they call a "university of relationships." Next, they provide the tools for bridging the gender gap and cultivating "friends of the heart" as well as how to improve what they call the Love IQ. Ultimately, you will discover how to peel away unhealthy religious clichés and get real about relating to God.
This video can be used for personal reflection or for group discussion with the accompanying participant's guide.

Daniel Valeri3 Stars Out Of 5For younger couplesJanuary 16, 2012Daniel ValeriQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3This series is geared for young people in the dating to considering marriage group, not for the already married. The description talks about all kinds of relationships but it tends to focus around friendships and relationship "break ups" that are definitely for the dating crowd. If you're looking for a curriculum for strengthening pre existing marriage relationships you may want to consider a different curriculum. I love the Parrot's stuff, but this was a miss for the group I was gearing it for.

This book written by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott is a well written book that draws from the Parrott's experiences, education and personal stories.
Are you one of those people that has a problem keeping friends or being a loyal "friend"? Are all you friends just short term never having anyone hang around and not being able to count people as your friends?
Then, get this book. You will find practical ideas and discover who you are and to whom you belong. You will always long to belong until you learn to find your place in relationship with our loving Father.
This book includes access to an assessment that can help you determine if you are a "Listener", a "Doer", a "Talker", or a "Thinker".
I challenge each of you to read and evaluate how you can become that kind of "friend" that we all desire to be.
