This is great for students with absolutely no experience or background with music. It is also a good review for students who have had music lessons, and includes terms and details that may be new information to them.

Gives great step by step instruction for teaching music. It starts off very basic and really digs deep.

The book, which allows you to copy for your students, has some wonderful charts. I am using this to teach our adults at church how to read music so they can follow our hymnal and join the choir! It is very easy to follow. The only thing that I would change is I would put simpler songs in the back of the book for them to first learn on. And I was hoping for some type of Christian song in the book. But, other than that, and that was an easy fix, it is well worth the money.
