Long time Homeschool MomMorgantown, PAAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Very usefulApril 28, 2011Long time Homeschool MomMorgantown, PAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have found these reading comprehension workbooks to be reasonably priced, thorough, and enjoyable tools for improving my students' reading comprehension. We may not agree with the content of every selection, but reading critically and with discernment is also a skill!! I highly recommend the series.

Laurie5 Stars Out Of 5August 18, 2010LaurieThis workbook was a surprisingly good resource for my 6th grader. I purchased it because the price was very affordable, and decided to use it as summer school material for my son. Over the course of 6 weks, my son's reading comprehension levels have improved a whole grade level. He said he enjoyed the workbook because the lessons were short, and the passages were interesting. We decided to use the evolution excerpt as a springboard to discuss why creation is the truth, and why evolution is not. We will be using these workbooks again.

Barbara Huskey1 Stars Out Of 5June 5, 2008Barbara HuskeyI ordered this booklet to help my son with his reading comprehension skills, which he is weak in. The first several lessons were very interesting and the questions were good. However, around the middle of the book some of the topics contain the theory of evolution presented as factual. My son and I decided to stop using this workbook seeing as we both believe that the Bible is 100% Truth and therefore believe completely in Creationism, and believe that the theory of evolution is a lie from satan. I do not recommend this workbook, because of the way evolution is presented as fact in some of the story selections. I also am disappointed that it is offered through a Christian site.
