Narrator, characters, action, hero, quest, plot, time and space, entrances and exits...These are the essential components of all narrative literature, and this book will help the reader grasp their full significance and so enter more perceptively into the narrative worlds created by the great writes of the Bible. This practical guide assumes no prior knowledge of the texts, or of the original languages in which they were written, and is full of step-by-step analyses, which help to uncover layers of meaning that even experienced readers can miss.
