There is tremendous evidence of a Pre-Trib Rapture and that it is NOT the 2nd coming of Christ. They are 2, different
happenings. Let's understand that the Tribulation is God's punishment coming on the earth, the non-believers, the haters of Israel. It is very clear that the saved in Christ are not meant to be among those suffering in what is to come.
Those who are saved will be raptured prior to the Tribulation, and the Tribulation will last 7 years. When the Abomination of Desolation occurs, (I'll let the reader look that up. Good homework), that sparks the 2nd Coming of Christ...and those who were raptured will be coming WITH HIM. It is ludicrous to think that Christ's own will be tormented in the Great Tribulation, then swept away and then what? The ones who will live in the millenium kingdom are those who survive as believers to the end when Christ returns, including the 144,000, the elect. I did not include Bible verses here. I suggest with kindness that whoever is confused prays about this and does his/her own research.
There is only one 2nd return of Christ and that brings the end of the world. Beware of truthfulness that contradicts to one another and the bible. 1 Timothy 4:1; 1 John 4:1; Deuteronomy 13:1-3; Jude 4.
I believe that being in the last days as we are, the unveiling of prophecy has been given to men like LaHaye, Ice, and Missler who take the scripture, hold true that the entire word of God is true, but use common sense when explaining it. There is a growing confusion amongst the modern church that prophecy is in the past, the rapture is false, and they refuse to look around and see scripture prophecy being fulfilled before their eyes. Great Book!
It saddens my soul to see this type of literature out in the Christian world. Just hearing the term rapture sends red flags up for me; why name the second coming by anything else? The rapture teaching is widely confused- some teach that believers are taken away and those on earth suffer the tribulation (this clearly contends Rev. 13:10)Other use the passage in Luke 17:33 to suggest the rapture, However,in verse 37 Jesus mentions vultures indicate this 'rapture'. This is a reference to some of the following scripture, in order or graphic detail: Ezekiel 40:17, Rev. 19:17 and 1 Kings 14:10-11.
Tim LaHaye needs to answer the question, why do the so called tribulation saints go in the first resurrection? (Rev 20:4-6 ) If the tribulation saints go in the first resurrection, what resurrection do the Pre-trib saints go in? There are only two resurrections and the second is the resurrection of the unjust. He wont be able to answer this, its not possible as a Pre-trib teacher. Jesus Christ himself said he would return after the tribulation of those days to gather the elect (Matthew 24). Neither Paul or any other apostle talked about a Pre-trib rapture before the resurrection. I think we should do the same, or leave it alone, as not to deceive every one around us. Or give them a false hope of rapture security before we know for sure whats up here.
