Intense. Gripping. This story was packed with action and intensity from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down because I needed to know how it would end. It was real and emotional the entire time. Full review at my website. 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Raptor 5, Hawk and Falcon are by Ronie Kendig. The books are about Special Forces members in Afghanistan doing routine missions until their communications system is compromised by the enemy. This is only brought to their attention after causalities from corrupted orders are received. On the whole, I really enjoyed the books and will probably purchase more from this author in the future.
Quick Summary: A gritty romance set in Afghanistan where absolutely anything can happen.
What I liked: I liked the descriptions of Afghanistan and life there that made the story live for me. I enjoyed the beginning of the story that set up the entire novel with tight suspense. The story itself is believable since in that part of the world anything can happen. I also liked the connection to characters in her previous series.
What I did not like: I cannot remember anything I did not like.
The bottom line: Readers looking for Christian romantic suspense need to pick this one up today.
