Visited my wife in a nursing home (age 53) and very much sensing the loss of our retirement years together. This CD Drama started out strange to me as I was totally unfamiliar with the story. I bought it based on Radio theater's stellar work on other dramas. I was not disappointed. It was providential to finish the drama on the drive home today from the Nursing Home. I had a good cry and prayer time after the final chapter. Highly recommended for adults dealing with unexplained loss or undeserved malignment. It was very cathartic.

I had forgotten this story over the years and bought it out of curiosity. It was a beautiful example of the power of forgiveness and our treasures truly being in loving and not riches. Focus on the Family Raido theatre brings it to life. I felt as if I was in the scenes as they happen. I can't wait to listen to more of these audio CD's

Though I had heard the title "Silas Marner" somewhere in my past, I had never heard the story, until I purchased this CD. This was an enjoyable introduction to this literary classic, and one that I believe my young granddaughter will enjoy. I appreciated the additional information related to the author too. On a technical note, I had to adjust the audio tone on my car stereo to clearly hear the actors and the background sound effects.

Very sweet; PERFECT with the book; would recommend it to anyone, especially those who read it in school and LIKED it like me :)

My daughter had recommended this for Christmas for her children. I had the opportunity to listen to it first. I was very pleased at the quality of the product and the story line is perfect for my grandchildren. I highly recommend this product to parents for their children as well.
