What is Jesus worth to you?
Its easy for American Christians to forget how Jesus said his followers would actually live, what their new lifestyle would actually look like. They would, Jesus said, leave behind security, money, convenience, even family for him. They would abandon everything for the gospel. They would take up their crosses daily…
But who do you know who lives like that? Do you?
A life-long learner, David has earned two undergraduate and three advanced degrees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (A.B.J.) from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Theology (Th.M) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He previously served at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as Dean of Chapel and Assistant Professor of Expository Preaching and Apologetics, Staff Evangelist at Edgewater Baptist Church in New Orleans, and eight years as the Senior Pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, AL.
David founded Radical (Radical.net), a ministry devoted to serving churches and disseminating disciple-making resources toward the end that the gospel might be made known in all nations.
David and his wife Heather have four children, Caleb, Joshua, Mara Ruth, and Isaiah.

Would be a great tool for small groups, youth groups, Adult SS class to challenge people to think, give and act in a way that joins God right now in accomplishing his kingdom purposes on earth.

ASERVANTPasadena, CaliforniaAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Truly an eye-opening testament to who we are.February 9, 2011ASERVANTPasadena, CaliforniaAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5EYE-OPENING! I attended a World Mission Conference recently and was shocked and appauled to l learn that American Chruches retain approximately 98% of what we collect from congregations. We are very much about building 'beautiful' testiments to God. This book points out that God DOESN'T want these man made tributes. It goes on to convict the Christian soul by revealing the things God DOES want from us...AN INSPIRING AND REVEALING TRUTH!
I have bought many copies to share with my CHRISTIAN friends. I write inside the front cover: READ AND PASS ON SO THAT ANOTHER MAY BE BLESSED.
Ask a Question▼▲
Q: Does the book, The Radical Question:What is Jesus worth to you, accommodate small group work book? I'm a youth pastor and we are doing this study as a church and though I might have better success getting our kids to read it instead. Thanks! :)
The Radical Question is a small excerpted booklet similar in design to Rick Warren's "What on Earth am I Here For?" It is designed as a booklet to hand out and would not be a good study guide for the issues raised in Radical.
Q: How many chapters does this book have? Questions? I'm a group leader and am interested in this book for our study. How many chapters does this book have? Does it have discussion questions after each chapter?
There are 9 total chapters in this book. No, it does not have end of chapter discussion questions.
