Willy6Phoenix, AZAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great engaging game!April 11, 2013Willy6Phoenix, AZAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We LOVE this game. For my "healthy" 7 yr old, this is a fun and fantastic thinking game. The 2 yr old, likes to match the colors and shapes. For the 2 special needs 10 yr olds, it can be frustrating, as there is problem solving, logic and thinking skills that are tough for them. Nevertheless, this is our favorite family game.
Similar to Scrabble, players must lay their tiles down according to color-matching, or shape-matching, or both. The more advanced players will be able to do both on many moves, while the younger players will still succeed as they match according one aspect or the other.
Highly recommend. -

Janet AlbertsonJohnstown, COAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Love this game for all ages.December 20, 2013Janet AlbertsonJohnstown, COAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is the third time I have bought this game, but the first time to keep it for ourselves. This is a thinking skills game that even small children can learn and enjoy. When we play with little children, we talk about the points, but we don't keep track of the points. With older kids and adults, it can get very competitive.

Marie-Paule Lacasse5 Stars Out Of 5May 13, 2010Marie-Paule LacasseThe description that is provided on this Christianbook.com website regarding Qwirkle is accurate! As a school teacher I would highly recommend this educational patterning game for quality family time. Any child from 6 to 12 will enthusiastically join in and parents will find themselves having genuine fun as well! Rules are easy to learn yet do not restrict the varying strategic levels of each player thus making the game interesting for all! The manipulative blocks are very sturdy and a perfect size.P.S.At a recent family reunion, the young and "old" adults kept on playing after the children were in bed!!
