The Hope Quotient is a revolutionary new method for measuringand dramatically increasingyour level of hope. Hope is more than a feeling; its the by-product of seven key factors. When these are present in your life, they cause hope to thrive.
Factor 1: Recharge Your Batteries Nobody does well running on empty.

JennieManila, PhilippinesAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A very inspiring book on hopeFebruary 3, 2015JennieManila, PhilippinesAge: 35-44Gender: femaleHow many times in life have we screwed up? The dad in that story is much like God who conspires to give us to give hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) We fall so many times but as we continue to fix our eyes on Jesus, we are given a hope that never disappoints.
The solution to everything is not the right religion. Its not the right ritual. It is the right person. That person, for your life, is Jesus Christ. Ray Johnston
The Hope Quotient by Ray Johnston is one of books Ill definitely go back to when I need a helping or two of encouragement. Highly recommended!
Simply EmmyBacolod City, PhilippinesAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Read if you need a liftJuly 24, 2014Simply EmmyBacolod City, PhilippinesAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4Pastor Ray Johnston starts the book with this sentence - "tough circumstances are no match for the kind of inner strength fueled by hope" and goes on to give examples of real people whose circumstances are beyond imaginable and maybe hopeless but went on to overcome and live a better life in the latter days of their lives.
First, there was IQ then came EQ and this time it's HQ that stands for Hope Quotient. And Pastor Ray believes that IQ and EQ are largely inherited, HQ, however, can be developed at any level.
I recommend this book to anyone who needs a lift in life and even for those who do not need one - yet. This material will have you thinking, highlighting, nodding, and sometimes laughing.
Pastor Ray gave arms and legs to hope. Hope is no longer an abstract noun, but practical. When you have hope, you can unleash hope to others. In the book, he outlined factors that can raise our hope quotient and goes on to write about how we can unleash hope in our relationships, career, church, and the community.
If you are discouraged, need a more positive perspective, the desire to renew your outlook or simply want to keep your hopes up - hope quotient, for that matter - I recommend this book for you to read.
