TXmommyTXAge: 25-345 Stars Out Of 5Unique word gameAugust 17, 2011TXmommyTXAge: 25-34Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this game based solely on description and reviews - we have not been disappointed! The more we play it, the more we like it. We have brought it out at two game days now with friends and it has been a hit. Game play: game consists of eight hands. The first hand everyone is dealt three cards, each subsequent hand has one card added so that by the eighth and final hand, there are ten cards. You basically have to make words with the cards in your hand, drawing and discarding to accomplish this. You lay down your hand, with word or words and you MUST have one discard! (This part gets frustrating because sometimes you want to use all your cards, but it also makes it interesting!) My six year old has played with us, he enjoys the game but needs help rearranging the cards in his hand and "seeing" the words. (He rated this game 4 stars.) Overall, we really enjoy this game and it works well with kids, adults, and groups - we recommend Quiddler!

Fergy5 Stars Out Of 5A great game for social interaction, fun and also educational requiring no effort.May 25, 2021FergyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5It is a word game. Each card has a letter of the alphabet on it and you draw and discard a card to make a word or more than one word with the letters you have in your hand. You try to use every letter in your hand to make a word or words. You start the first round of play with 3 cards in your hand and each round thereafter the cards in your hand increase up to 10 cards in your hand and then the round is over and you count the points (each card has a point value) to see who has accumulated the most points. Getting the most points is fine but encountering so many new words while playing the game is the most fun. It's surprising the new words that you learn while having fun playing not even to mention the definitions that some of the new words have that are discovered in this game. It's a shame that the Short Word Dictionary for this game is no longer available.

Lifelinx5 Stars Out Of 5A good game that is family friendly!June 26, 2023LifelinxThis is a fun game! Even when I don't think I'm in the mood for it, when people ask me to join in, it only takes one deal to get into it. We like helping the other players if they can't come up with words from the cards they lay down: t's a win-win no matter who has the most points. :)
